VULCAN 2-AS is an addressable low profile siren & strobe that can be configured in the field to operate in shadow address or auxiliary modes. They can also be produced with short circuit isolators. Up to 64 VULCAN 2 A Sounder & Beacon devices can be connected to a single loop depending on the loop load. While all VULCAN 2 A series of devices have dipswitch address setting, Tone and Mode selection is done through a jumper. Normally, VULCAN 2 A series of products are used with a detector, ie at the bottom of the detector, but with a separate cover option, it can also be used as an addressable device only.
