UG-4 single-pipe duct smoke detector is used to prevent the spread of smoke in a ventilation system. Since it only has one pipe, UG-4 is easy to install and operate. Developed to detect smoke in ventilation ducts and combines a smoke detector and an adaptor system where both venturi pipe and housing are specially designed for optimum airflow through the smoke detector.
