The updated version of the Built-In-Printer has a 40 column internally mounted thermal printer to provide a hardcopy of the OCTO+ panel log containing all relevant events occurring in the system.

All events are date and time stamped and are backed by a 10000 events deep rolling log kept in the panel's nonvolatile memory. In order for the printer to work properly it is necessary to be connected to one of the BMS channels in the panel via 5 way flat cable.
